I am back with the stats this week. It has been a busy summer. Lots of activity in the market, not everything is happening real fast but it is moving along. We are currently having a end of summer listing special. If you have been thinking about selling now could be a great opportunity to present your home on the market with a full service marketing plan at a great savings. For a limited time we are offering our marketing plan to sellers for only 5% comm. We are offering this special for listing contracts signed through the end of July so call today!
On with the stats. We have 116 active listings in the Danville market with a price range of $57,600-$664,900. There were 4 new listings in Danville this week that ranged from $128,900-$165,000.
There are currently 21 houses pending. The range in price from $79,900-$339,500. We had 2 homes go pending this week that were $109,900-$159,900.
Sales: There were 4 sales this week $103,900 & $143,900 which brings us to 9 for the month. The highest was $264,000 the lowest was $101,000. That is compared to nine through the first 19 days of July last year and 7 for 2006 and 5 for 2005. So the July market seems to be back on track but we are still a little low for the year with only 82 closing this year. That is approx 30% below 05-07 year to date sales but right in line with the 2003-04 sales.
Well I hope that gives you a little insight to real estate market for this month in Danville Indiana. Remember our 5% listing promotion runs to the end of July, and as always log in to www.youripres.com to search for homes anytime.
Thanks, Don
